Signages are sketchy at Safdarjung Tomb
Sketchy information boards and unavailability of guides are two major problems. The monument does have a functional toilet, which is a paid facility but the drinking water source is so shabby and ill-maintained, that any tourist, domestic or foreign, will have to think twice before drinking from it.

Also, even when there is ample parking available outside the main entry, number of vehicles are parked inside. These belong to Archaeological Survey of India (ASI) staff and regular visitors to the ASI offices.
These haphazardly parked vehilces inside the premises mars the ambience at the monument.
