Four armed men looted 140 kg of silver, worth Rs 17 lakh, from a goldsmith near Gadhi Pachauri forest area on Thursday night, police said in Mathura on Friday.
The armed men forced goldsmith Murari Lal to stop his vehicle and later escaped with silver in a Qualis car. They tied Lal, his driver and an employee before escaping, police added.

Lal was coming from Reenva in Madhya Pradesh. A case has been registered in this regard.
