The woman, Patcharee Jirangda, 32, was allegedly attacked by a driver who took her to a remote area, stopped his car and tried to rape her.
She walked into a police station "with about an inch (2.5 centimetres) of the taxi driver's tongue," a police official said. He said the driver was still at large.
