For the first time, a "Single Window system" has been introduced by ADA at its office in Indira Bhawan for passing the house maps within a stipulated time of one month.

One retired staff of ADA, Shyam Sundar Swarnkar, inaugurated the system by cutting the ribbon of newly established window system.

Alok Kumar Pandey, Officer on Special Duty told HT Allahabad Live on Tuesday that this facility was at present available in Varanasi, Kanpur and Lucknow.

With this system the map approval formalities would be completed in one month since the filing of map application. The window would be fully operational from December 1 onwards.

Harried applicants would now not be require to visit several tables to get their maps passed.

On the experimental basis, 20 out of 60 maps have been disposed of so far. No objection certificates from Nazul, Nagar Nigam, Jal Sansthan, Fire department, Public Works Department, Uttar Pradesh Power Corporation Limited, Traffic, Archaeological Survey of India and other departments would be needed from the side of applicants. Compliance of government orders related to earthquake resistant measures and rain harvesting system would also be part of the details to be submitted by the applicant.

Pandey hoped that the applicant would get all information at single counter and further improvements could also be brought on the suggestion given by applicants and others. Rates of fee for approval of house maps would be put up on the notice board at the window to avoid any confusion.
