Singur package an example for others: Brinda

"The package announced by the West Bengal Government for farmers of Singur, whose land had been acquired for the setting up of Nano plant, has set an example in the country," CPI(M) Politburo Member Brinda Karat said here today.

No state had offered such a good package as this till date," she claimed while addressing a public meeting organised by the Democratic Women's Organisation, a wing of the CPI(M).

Karat also criticised Trinamool Congress Chief Mamata Banerjee for putting a spanner in Nano project.
