Six Trinamool Congress workers were injured when the police made a lathicharge in Haldia as the party was holding its one-hour road blockade, according to party leader Sisir Adhikary.

He alleged that the police lathicharge was unprovoked since the one-hour statewide road blockade had been announced by party chief Mamata Banerjee.
