The sketch, drawn up using information gathered from the owner and employees of the Internet cafe in Kochi from where the e-mails were sent, depicts a man aged between 25 and 35 years, police officials said in Kochi.

The hard discs of four computers seized from the cyber cafe were despatched to the Centre for Development of Advanced Computing for forensic analysis, the result of which would be strong evidence, they said.

Top police officials, including Additional Director General (Operations) Rajan Madhekar, met at Kochi and reviewed the progress in the investigation. The probe is expected to be completed in two to three days, officials said.

The investigating officers in Thiruvananthapuram have contacted MSN Microsoft headquarters in the US to get information on whether any messages other than the threatening e-mails had been sent from the ID created by the suspect.

Following the request, all mails in the inbox and outbox of the particular ID were sent to police in Thiruvananthapuram, they said.

Investigations have revealed the e-mail ID, from which the e-mails had been sent, was created on October 26 at the Kochi cyber cafe at 2.30 pm. The messages were sent between 3.15 pm and 3.30 pm.

From 2.30 pm to 4.15 pm, the suspect was at the cafe, police said.
