Sporting a price tag in range of Rs 7-9 lakhs, the Czech auto giant Skoda will launch its car models Fabia and Octavia L&K in the Indian market in 2004. The 4-cylinder diesel Fabia will come in two different variants, Fabia Sedan and Fabia Combi, with the latter designed to transport big loads or luggage. Fabia Combi has a 426 litres luggage compartment, hidden under a roll-up while the 4.22-metre Fabia Sedan has a typical trim on its side and a slightly elevated back. The supreme luxury car, Octavia L&K, named after the Skoda's founders- Vaclay Laurin and Vaclay Klement has a four cylinder turbocharged perol engine and hyraulicdual circuit braking system.
