A slight earthquake measuring 3.9 on the Richter scale struck the East Garo Hills, Assam, on Thursday morning.
The tumbler, which took place at 15:59 hours, had its epicentre at latitude 26 degrees North and longitude 90.2 East, a Met department release said.
