Even though on-screen kissing gets a green signal, actors have decided to lock lips only if required! News has it that dare bare hunks have started refusing unnecessary kissing scenes in reel life. The first one to join Hashmi's 'non-kissing' league is newcomer Kiran Jhanjani who requested his director to delete a long lip-locking scene with actress Malishka in forthcoming film Sitam because that particular scene might have spoiled his married life.

"First of all I want to rest all rumours that I refused the scene due to fear of sexually transmitted disease. This was not the reason at all. I am married and I have certain responsibilities towards my wife. Besides that I also feel that a smooch scene was not required in the film," says Kiran.

Another actor in the making, Arjun Punj, refused to give lip service to bombshell Mona Chopra in . "I refused because there was no need for any such scene in the film. I don't do movies just for smooching. I told the director that unnecessary kissing scene will look as if we were forced to do it," says Arjun.

And it's not only the male breed but also female actresses who are ready to skip steamy scenes. Actress Maushami Udeshi tells her experience while shooting for the film Lips with co-star Anuj Saxena. "While doing romantic shots I felt Anuj was not as forthcoming as he should have been only because his wife was present on every shooting location. Moreover, I feel kissing without reason looks vulgar and uncalled for," states Maushmi.
