SNDT University introduced distance education programmes in 1979. Since then it has benefited thousands of working women, housewives and girls who aspire for higher education but are unable to pursue full-time degrees. In the last academic year, 11,500 women pursued the BA and B.Com degrees from the university’s Centre for Distance Education.

Courses

The BA and B.Com degree programmes are of three-year duration and open to those who have completed HSC in Arts/Commerce or the University Entrance Test (UET) — an alternate preparatory course.

Anyone with a SSC or UET can pursue the nine-month certificate course in Basics of Diet Therapy, which initiates students into the use of diets for health reasons.

Highlights

The courses in BPO Skills and Call Centre Management, Guidance and Counselling and English for Communication are open to those with HSC qualification.

Admissions

June to September
