Congress President Sonia Gandhi on Monday expressed grief at the killing of Indian Telecom engineer K Suryanarayana by Taliban militia in Afghanistan.
In a message to Suryanarayana's wife K Manjula in Hyderabad, Gandhi conveyed her condolences and said, "my party and I join the nation in paying homage to the courage and sacrifice of K Suryanarayana."

"I pray that you are given the strength to bear the irreparable loss," she said in a message from Delhi.
