Congress president Sonia Gandhi has rejected the resignation of Siddaramaiah as the leader of Opposition in Karnataka Assembly, Union Minister Gulam Nabi Azad said in Bangalore.

"Gandhi has asked Siddaramaih to continue in the post," Azad, who is in-charge of Congress affairs in Karnataka, told reporters in Bangalore.
