In two horrifyingly similar incidents, two men were allegedly killed by their children for committing adultery.
In the first incident, Kishna Pal, 55, was found shot dead near a field in Jalababad area of Muradnagar in Ghaziabad district on June 12. His assailants tried to destroy the body to avoid leaving any evidence.
During police investigations, the victim’s sons — Sandeep Singh, 28, and Pravin Singh, 22 — emerged as the prime suspects.
"We suspect that the two sons may have killed their father, as he was having an extra-marital affair and refused to part with the money he had received after selling his land," senior superintendent of police (SSP) Raghubir Lal said.
Police have also found several packs of condoms and viagra tablets near the body. "Both the accused are absconding and hiding somewhere in Uttarakhand. We have sent a team to nab them," the SSP added.
In the second incident, 19-year-old Sumit Singh allegedly bludgeoned his father Raghunandan Singh, 50, to death in Modinagar on March 14.
Sumit has confessed to the crime. "He had a lot of money but never cared for us and our mother. He had multiple affairs. So, one day I smashed his head and face with a heavy stone and later lodged a police complaint against unidentified persons to hide the crime," Singh told the police.

{{/usCountry}}Sumit also told the police that his mother was suffering from abdominal cancer and his father never paid any attention to her sufferings. He was arrested on Wednesday and produced before a court on charges of murder.
