Sony has published a troubleshooting guide for users experiencing problems with the new PS4.

According to the BBC, some users complained about a blue light continuously flashing on their consoles, affecting its operation, which the company said could be trigged due to a problem with the console's power supply, hard drive, hardware or TV compatibility.

Sony said that the number of systems affected by the issue represented less than 0.4 percent of units shipped to date adding that vast majority of the feedback has been positive.

The company recommended that users facing issues like blinking of the blue light on the console could try to turn off the console completely by pressing the power button for seven seconds.

Sony has also advised users to make sure that the hard drive is properly seated in its bay, as a loose connection can prevent the console from powering on completely, the report added.
