"Three weeks ago he was cleared by the ICC. The ICC has to take a permanent stance. He needs to play without all these pressure. The issue needs to be sorted out once and for all," Ganguly said.

Though the issue of Harbhajan having been reported for a suspect bowling action was not a worry for the team, "we all need to know where he stands," he told reporters.

Ganguly, however, did not believe that the issue was ill-motivated but agreed that it was a matter of concren to the bowler.

"I don't see any motive; I don't see any reason."

"Obviously, he is a little bit worried because it's a question of his career," he added.

Ganguly expressed confidence that Harbhajan would overcome the issue.

"He is a fighter and competitor; that's how he has been successful for the last 3-4 years. He has a big heart and temperament. He is tough and he will come back."
