BCCI seceratary Niranjan Shah told BBCHindi that it looks difficult that former Indian skipper Sourav Ganguly would make it to the national side in future, as the national selection committee's view was that Sourav's being in the team was not proper.

"Selection committee says it wants to look towards the future, it does not want to look backwards now. This is what Kiran More has said in his press conference," Shah said.

"I think Sourav Ganguly now stands a slim chance to play in future."

Shah said that the selectors wanted to bring in youngsters looking towards the future.

"We have to build a team for the future, that is why the selection committee decided to give a chance to the youngsters. It is the selection committee's decision and they feel his being in the team is not proper," Shah said.
