State minister for Agriculture Jaiprakash Yadav and MLC Ganesh Shanker Pandey have been camping here to ensure the success of the rally.

This rally is an important one for the SP after its victory in the zila panchayat chairperson’s elections.

Talking to mediapersons, Jaiprakash Yadav expressed hope that the proposed rally would open the gateway for progress and prosperity of eastern Uttar Pradesh.

He gave credit to the SP for checking the recurrence of the dreaded Japanese Encephalitis in the region. He said the State Government not only provided compensation to the guardians who lost their wards to JE, but also provided help to the victims who became disabled.

He hoped that the pathological tests at the proposed research centre at BRD Medical College for JE would help in confirming the disease.

MLC Pandey said various development projects that were suspended would now be completed.

Blaming other political parties for defaming Mulayam Singh Yadav, Chandrabali said the CM had assured that Gorakhpur district would get uninterrupted power supply from March this year.

He has appealed to the party leaders to ensure the success of the chief minister’s public meeting.
