A complaint has been registered against the US administration in this regard, official sources said.

In his complaint before city judicial magistrate Amit Sirohi on Saturday, district official Arun Bhadoria claimed that by taking the dogs to Mahatma Gandhi's memorial, the Bush administration brought disgrace on the Father of the Nation.

The judge has asked Bhadoria to record his statement against Bush on April 4.

Bhadoria said he had approached the court after his pleas to register a case against Bush were "ignored" by Haridwar SSP Abhinav Kumar.
