Parking On Weekdays/Weekends: Easy during the day; gets crowded in the evenings.
It's got lost among the newer Italian restaurants that have popped up all over the city. When it started, the restaurant had brought over a chef from Torino who put together a decent menu; after him, the place has seen a succession of Italian chefs, each adding his own touch. But it has been hit because of competition from Zaffran upstairs and the challenge of Shalom across the road. The Chicken Breast with Green Pepper, Mustard and Brandy Sauce or the Rosemary, Red Wine and Tomato Sauce, Penne with Four Cheese Sauce, and Sole Cooked with Lemon, Garlic and Parsley in a White Wine Sauce are the best-sellers. Vegetarians may feel short-changed, for the menu has nothing more exciting than the Insalata Caprese.
Wine List: It's not the most exciting list in the city.
The wines are basic, but you won't feel cheated if you order one. Check out Kendall-Jackson's Zinfandel Shiraz from California, Vina Tarapaca's Pinot Noir from Chile, and the Jacob Creek Semillon Chardonnay from Australia.
