Sparkling annual day of KPRP

KHRIST PREMALAYA Regional Philosophate (KPRP) celebrated its annual day with pomp and festivity. The function began with the lighting of the lamp by the chief guest Babulal Gaur, the Minister of Commerce and Industries, Archbishop Dr Pascal Topno and other dignitaries.

KHRIST PREMALAYA Regional Philosophate (KPRP) celebrated its annual day with pomp and festivity. The function began with the lighting of the lamp by the chief guest Babulal Gaur, the Minister of Commerce and Industries, Archbishop Dr Pascal Topno and other dignitaries.

The students of KPRP gave a vibrant performance before the audience present in a large number. There were various dances and songs. The blended dance representing different states stole the show. The audience was spell- bound by the comedy skit

‘The Exchange Clinic’ presented by the students. After the prayer dance, Fr Xavier T SVD, the Rector of the seminary, welcomed all the guests and gave brief information about the origin and the working of the institution, which was substantiated by a slide show on screen showing various activities of the institution.

During his speech, chief guest Gaur explained the motto of the seminary namely gyan, Bhakti, Sadhanabhi, Sevanam. He gave the example of Gautam Buddha who gave up everything and went in search of knowledge and Bhakti. He also quoted Swami Vivekananda and appreciated the selfless service rendered by the Christians in the field of education, medical and upliftment of the poor and marginalised.
