This has been done to facilitate thousands of candidates who arrived here on Saturday to take the Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) examination on Sunday.

More than 50,000 candidates have come to the city to sit the examination. The NRC authorities ran three specials and added at least two coaches to many trains to save the general commuters from any kind of trouble.

The NRC authorities said that whenever there was an RRB examination, there used to be chaos after the candidates doing their examination reached the railway station.

The candidates coming from other parts of the country entered the reserved compartments and indulged in arguments with passengers leading to ugly scenes. To avoid this situation, the railways, besides giving advertisement in newspapers also made arrangements to ensure that the examinees were told by the invigilators about the timing of arrival and departure of trains.

Extra coaches were added to several Delhi, Mughalsarai, Varanasi, Lucknow and Bareilly- bound trains.
