Legendary Pakistani squash champion Jahangir Khan visited the Indian team's dressing room on Wednesday and spoke warmly with the players shortly after they lost to Pakistan in the third Test here.
"Jahangir visited the Indian dressing room (at the National Stadium) and met the players," Indian team's media manager GS Walia said.
"He was there in the dressing room for about 10-12 minutes as the players were packing their bags," he said.
Karachi-based Khan is now president of the World Squash Federation.
Khan, also an avid cricket fan, watched the fourth day's play and had a small chat before heading for the Indian team's dressing room.
"In early 1990s, I played in Delhi, Indore and Mumbai when I also took my contemporaries Ross Norman (of France) and Peter Nicole (of Scotland) with me," Khan later said.
During his illustrious career, Khan, now 42, won the six World Open titles and the British Open a record 10 times.
Between 1981 and 1986, Khan, whose other family members also made a name in the game, remained unbeaten in competitive play for over five years, winning 555 consecutive matches — the longest winning streak in squash history.
