Sreesanth grounded before take-off!

Sree was stopped from boarding a flight to Dubai as he did not possess a clearance certificate.

India fast bowler Sreesanth was stopped from boarding a flight to Dubai at Kochi International Airport as he did not possess an emigration clearance certificate, airport emigration sources said.

Sreesanth was about to leave for Dubai for a private trip in an Emirates flight when emigration personnel discovered that the cricketer did not possess the ECNR (Emigration Clearance not Required) in his passport, the sources said.

Sreesanth was directed to get the endorsement from the Protectorate of Emigrants, the sources added.
