According to the reports, prominent names from Bollywood met at The Club in Andheri to try and settle the multiplex owners, producers and distributors issue before the strike could begin.

Among them were Mahesh Bhatt, Mukesh Bhatt, Ronnie Screwwala, Karan Johar and Yash Chopra. Even King of Bollywood Shah Rukh Khan and Aamir Khan also turned up and seemed united on the issue.
