SRK-Anupam Kher whoop it up for Hey Babby!

Sajid Khan attempts to recreate the same crackling chemistry in Kher and Khan, as shared by the actors in films like Dilwale..., Chaahat and Paheli.

There was a hush-hush completion of shooting for Sajid Khan's much talked about take on Leonard Nimoy's 3 Men and a Baby, which is being readied for release.

Hey Babby which casts Akshay Kumar, Vidya Balan and Reteish Deshmukh, had one song and a few comic scenes left to be shot.

A source says: "Sajid wanted Shah Rukh to make an appearance in his directorial debut. After all, his sister Farah Khan has directed both her films with SRK in the lead.

"When Sajid requested Shah Rukh to put in a guest appearance in Hey Babby SRK agreed without second thoughts. His only condition was that Sajid would have to wait until SRK returned from his family holiday in London."

The minute SRK returned to Mumbai, he allotted dates to the anxious debutant director.

Anupam and Shah Rukh had created a very special chemistry in Aditya Chopra's Dilwale Dulhaniya Le Jayenge, Mahesh Bhatt's Chaahat and Amol Palekar's Paheli. Apparently Sajid tried to recreate the same crackling chemistry in the Kher-Khan scenes and songs during the shooting held earlier this week.

The film marks Shah Rukh's debut in a Sajid Nadiadwala production.
