All those who were hoping to catch Shah Rukh Khan jive at IIFA after 7 years may be in for a disappointment. If SRK's knee injury does not heal in time, he may not perform at IIFA this year.

SRK was supposed to perform at IIFA this year and introduce the lead actor of Azaan, Sachin Joshi, son of the Gutka baron Jagdish Joshi, Mid-Day reported. His plans seem shaky now thanks to his recurring knee injury.

The actor had reportedly hurt his knee last year and his injury aggravated during the rigorous shoot and tough action sequences in Ra.One.

A source told the tabloid, "The shoot of RA.One has been quite challenging for SRK. He has been exerting himself quite a bit for the shoot. Consequently his knee injury has come back."

Buzz is that doctors have adviced King Khan complete rest. "The doctor has advised Shah Rukh not to strain his knee. As a result he will have to cut down on the shooting and physical work. He may have to skip going to IIFA because of his knee injury," added the source.
