SSP Vijay Singh Meena has warned all station officers of Allahabad and Kaushambi districts either to ensure arrest of all the wanted criminals or face demotion.
Impressing upon them the impending necessity of implementing the Directoe General of Police’s orders, he made it clear that no laxity on the part of the station officers would be tolerated in case they failed to achieve the desired results.
It may be recalled that the DGP recently told all the district police chiefs in the state that they would be removed from their present place of posting if all the wanted criminals in their district were not nabbed or eliminated in encounters.
Addressing a joint meeting of all the station officers of the two districts including circle officers, additional SPs and SPs, the SSP directed them to visit the spot of the crime and use scientific methods to work out crimes . He said action would be taken against all those SHOs in whose jurisdiction cases of gambling and selling of narcotics came to light.
The SSP also said that all the work done by station officers between April 20 and May 19 would be reviewed on May 20.
