ST THERESA?S Girls? School celebrated its 25th school feast with fervour and gaiety on its premises on Friday. The celebration also marked the beginning of the school silver jubilee programme of the institute. Archbishop of Bhopal diocese Rev Pascal Topno was the special invitee on the occasion.

The day began with floral offerings and blessing of the newly-installed statue of St Theresa. A meaningful prayer service comprising of reading from holy scriptures, prayers, hymns and a solemn prayer dance highlighting the values of universal love, peace, faith and hope was also conducted on the occasion.
A colourful variety entertainment was presented on the occasion, which included a dance by the tiny-tots of class I bringing out the importance of a happy family, and a colourful Rajasthani dance which added colour to the festive mood. A skit titled ‘India… a Cradle of Great Religion’ brought out the need for unity irrespective of one’s religion or community.
The highlight of the programme was a skit depicting the life of St Theresa, the patroness saint. The programme ended with everyone singing the school anthem together imploring St Theresa to shower her blessings upon everyone.
