State agriculture university declares entrance test result
Chaudhary Charan Singh Haryana Agricultural University (CCSHAU) on Saturday declared the result of state-level entrance test conducted for admissions to undergraduate (UG) and postgraduate (PG) degree courses on June 8. The registrar, SS Dahiya, said results had been displayed on the university website - www.hau.ernet.in and http://ams.mycollegeform.com/ccshau/admission.

The university had conducted the entrance test against 100 seats in B Sc (Hons) agriculture, a four-year course, and 14 seats in M Sc food science and technology, M Sc molecular biology and biotechnology and M Sc bioinformatics degree courses. A total of 11,060 and 114 candidates had appeared for the test.
Dahiya said 3,521 candidates had qualified the test whereas the number of such candidates was 25 for PG course.
In B Sc (Hons) agriculture, Shweta of Bhiwani, who scored 77 marks had topped the list of successful candidates while Anil Kumar (Meham) and Sumit (Hisar) scored 74.5 marks and got second rank. Naveen Beniwal (Hisar) and Aman Sachdeva (Hisar) got 73.5 marks and secured the third position.
Similary, in M Sc course, Manisha Sharma of Jind having scored 65 marks in the test has got first rank, while Kanika Rani (Bhiwani) and Sonali Sangwan (Hisar) got 62 and 60 marks and secured second and third rank, respectively.
