On Saturday, it demanded Rs 16,000 crore in equated installments during the 13th five-year financial plan that begins next year.

The state government plans to spend Rs 3,18,990 crore till 2021 on various projects in the region, like Metro rail, water resources, suburban railway, roads, water transport, drainage, municipal infrastructure, land, real estate, housing, airport/port development and power.
