My cousins are very demonstrative around me. I hate it when they hug me and express their fondness for me physically. Does it mean that I am abnormal? I am 16 years and otherwise a very open-minded girl. I have always detested any act of physical demonstration, be it from my parents or friends. Is something wrong with me?

Do you think that your cousins are physically attracted to you? You are perfectly right in repulsing their “moves”, as stated by you.
There are people who like to show their affection by touching. But if you think that they are crossing the line, you have all the reason to react. Nobody is allowed to encroach on your physical space.
Firmness on your part will definitely have a sobering effect on them and they will learn to behave. Remember, if you are upright, nobody will dare touch you.
