Showing an insensitive attitude towards the problems faced by the train passengers due to damaged boundary wall at few spots at the Allahabad Junction station, the Railway administration has not yet taken any step to repair it in order to avoid any accident.

Boundary wall near the reservation counter on Civil Lines side is damaged. As a result stray animals freely enter the rail tracks as well as the platforms. There is no fencing on east and west end of platform No1 which is highly essential to keep the stray animals away as well as to prevent misuse of the railway property. This is also causing great inconvenience to the passengers.
The sight of the railway station is such that cattle and dogs can be easily espied moving on the platforms. Moreover, the stray cattle roaming the waiting halls some times take away the passengers' eatables besides hurting them. Due to these animals the sanitation problem has also arisen at the Junction Station.
Besides, the damaged boundary wall and lack of fencing has also paved the way for the miscreants and unauthorised people to enter the premises of the railway station without any hurdle. With this the miscreants are free to do whatever they want, especially harming the railway property.
