Talking to newsmen here on Wednesday, Sahay, the Union Food Processing Minister, said investigation into the scam by the Enforcement Directorate and Income Tax departments was going on.

Demanding a probe against BJP MP from Jamshedpur and former chief minister, Arjun Munda, Koda said at least 40 mines were allotted in Jharkhand during the NDA rule headed by Munda compared to 15 to 20 mines by Koda.

"We have to approach INTERPOL to investigate the scam outside the country," he said.Asked if extending support to Koda was a mistake on the part of Congress, Sahay said Congress immediately withdrew its support when it realised the prevalent corruption under his regime.

The seeds of corruption in Jharkhand, he claimed, were sown when BJP had taken independent candidates-cum-ministers Harinarayan Rai, Enos Ekka to Jaipur ahead of forming a government after the last Assembly poll.
