About 70 students of Jamia Millia Islamia, Delhi University and JNU were detained for a few hours for protesting in front of the Israel Embassy on Monday. The protest was against Israel’s attack on Gaza.

All students were arrested when they threw shoes into the Embassy. “Our act was suppose to articulate the students’ outrage over the same,” said Roshan Kishore, secretary of the JNU unit of SFI.
