Sulabh founder to be honoured with Energy Globe Award
Sulabh founder Bindeshwar Pathak will receive the prestigious Energy Globe Award at the European Parliament in Brussels.

Sulabh founder Bindeshwar Pathak will receive the prestigious Energy Globe Award at the European Parliament in Brussels.
Pathak will be honoured for the development of sanitation plants linked to Sulabh toilets, which produce odour-free biogas and phophorous rich clean water.
The Padma Shri awardee has also received the Dubai International Award for Best Practices and the Indira Gandhi Priyadarshini Award for Environment for the Sulabh toilet which he designed over three decades ago.
The award is given to pioneers who make projects that make careful use of resources and employ alternate energy sources.
