"I am tired of exposing for no rhyme or reason. In my opinion there's nothing wrong in showing off your body if something can be achieved by it. For example alternate sexuality is a subject that not many want to talk about. Lesbians are as much a part of our society as anyone else, and if by wearing a little less I am able to draw attention to the issue, I would consider it a job well done," says the dusky beauty who recently split with husband and model Gautam Kapoor.

While she began her career well with Fareb in 1996, Ranganathan's films after that have been one box office disaster following another. Not even an itsy bitsy bikini routine in Aa Ab Laut Chalein could help revive her sagging career.
