IN ORDER to encourage the sports talent of the school students, a two-month long summer coaching camp will be organised at the RCVP Noronha Academy of Administration from May 1. The Sports, Cultural and Youth Welfare Society of the Academy will organise the coaching camp. Experienced and trained coach will take care of the children participating in the coaching camps.
The games in which coaching will be imparted to the children up to the 10 + 2 level during the camp include - badminton, squash, table tennis, cricket and lawn tennis.
Each child desirous of participating in the summer coaching camp shall be required to deposit a certain amount of money prescribed for each game. Students undergoing coaching in badminton shall be required to pay a fee Rs. 250 per student. A fee of Rs. 150 each has been fixed for squash and table tennis. Similarly, a fee of Rs. 250 will be charged for coaching in cricket and lawn tennis.
The students selected for the camp will be essentially required to reach the Academy along with the necessary sports material such as racket, bat, ball, shuttle cock, pad etc.
