THE PUBLIC was treated to the soft voice of Raghav Sachar and electrifying performance of Sunidhi Chauhan in the Idea Rocks India Concert held at Poddar Plaza in the City on Saturday.
The short programme began with the performance of Raghav Sachar who presented some songs from his debut album and also from the film Kabul Express. Raghav played different instruments along with the songs and this proved to be a unique experience for the listeners.
The excitement among audience soared when Sunidhi started her performance with the song from movie ‘Mast’. Dressed in a chic outfit, she presented all her high energy and fast numbers in a row with some melodious songs in between. The public danced to songs ‘Crazy Kiya re’ from Dhoom:2, ‘Beedi Jalai le’ from Omkara, ‘Dhoom Again’ and ‘Deedar de’ sung by Sunidhi.
Both singers interacted with the audience during breaks between songs. Some of the listeners even tried to climb up the stage to reach out to their favourite singers, but the security guards handled the situation on time.
The concert wound up very early and the public returned home with no response to their demand of ‘once more’. The event began at Kochi on January 14 and would conclude in Jabalpur in March. Spread over 11 weeks, the event also features Laughter Challenge maestro Sanjay Keni.
