Sunita fails second dope test

The double medal winner again tested positive for nandrolone when a sample collected after 5000 m race, in which she finished third, was examined.

Close on the heels of Sunday's detection, double medal winner Sunita Rani on Monday tested positive for a second time for the banned substance, nandrolone, here.

The confirmation came when result of a second sample collected after the 5000 m race, in which she finished third, was tested, according to the Chef de Mission of the Indian contingent, Jagdish Tytler.

Earlier, she had tested positive after winning the 1500m gold setting a new Asian Games record.
