Surfer's poem: Sinking Back

Sinking back into the 'is', thus, I become understood less and less by the ones, writes Jasmeet Kaur, New Delhi.

Sinking back into the 'is',
Thus,
I become understood less and less
By the ones
Who don't want to get out of there 'was'?
Mind you, the mind is 'was'.
'Was' excludes 'is',
But 'is' includes 'was'.
Hence,
I understand more and more those
Locked in the 'was',
While I become less and less,
As the 'is' embraces
This I that once was 'was'.
Sinking back into the 'is',
Thus...
