Amid opposition from local people, the Orissa government is all set to start forest land survey at Posco’s proposed plant site near Paradip on Tuesday.

“We are planning to undertake forest land survey work at the proposed plant site villages excluding Dhinkia village from Tuesday,” Jagatsinghpur Collector N.C. Jena said.

Besides recording conditions of the people living at the proposed plant site villages, the revenue department officials would also undertake forest land demarcation activities.
