Sushma attracts devotees' ire

Swaraj attracted people's ire when she came in front of the sanctum sanctorum at Ujjain's Mahakaleshwar temple.

Senior BJP leader Sushma Swaraj attracted people's ire when she came in front of the sanctum sanctorum during shayan aarti on Sunday night at the world-famous Mahakaleshwar temple in Ujjain.

Swaraj, who came for a darshan to the temple, went in front of the sanctum sanctorum after the shayan aarti and started offering prayers while devotees behind her protested for darshan.

Swaraj immediately left the temple after the incident.

According to sources, normalcy returned after Swaraj left the temple.

The BJP leader, however, took part in the bhasma aarti and prayers this morning.
