Senior BJP leader and the party candidate from Vidisha Lok Sabha seat Sushma Swaraj on Thursday day filed her nomination for the constituency in the presence of Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan.

Sushma along with Chouhan arrived at the District Returning Officer (DRO) and Raisen Collector, Sandeep Yadav’s office to submit her nomination papers for the Vidisha Lok Sabha seat.
Vidisha has a history of sending outsiders to the Parliament and the veteran leaders who had successfully contested from the seat included former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee and noted journalist Ramnath Goenka.
