BJP LEADER Sushma Swaraj today announced that she would celebrate Rangpanchmi every year in Bhopal. Her one-line commitment to the state BJP is - Madad puri, kasar bilkul nahi.
Addressing party workers she said since she contested Lok Sabha elections from Bellary constituency she had been going there every year to celebrate Mahalaxmi festival as she had resolved before the electorate to do so.
She said the trio- Shivraj Singh Chouhan, Satyanarayan Jatia and Kaptan Singh Solanki was discharging its duties for the party satisfactorily, hence she would not like to interfere in the party functioning. She reiterated that she was emotionally attached with Madhya Pradesh in general and Bhopal in particular.
Later, when journalists asked her what did she think of the party action against the party veteran Madan Lal Khurana she said he had been suspended from the party and he was supposed to give reply to the party’s notice. She was not in a position to say more than that.
On Khurana’s offensive remarks against the party leaders she said that’s why he had been suspended. On the expelled BJP leader Uma Bharti’s proposed rally tomorrow in Delhi she said let it be organised first.
