Suzlon's Denmark arm bags orders

The wind power company informs BSE about getting orders from Italy and Portugal for supplying 29 wind turbines.

Leading wind power company Suzlon Energy Ltd on Wednesday said its Denmark-based wholly owned subsidiary has bagged orders from Italy and Portugal for supplying 29 wind turbines.

The company's Denmark arm has secured an order for supplying 10 2.1 MW turbines to Italy-based Maestrale Green Energy, Suzlon informed the Bombay Stock Exchange.

An order from Portugal-based Tecneira - Tecnologias Energeticas has also been bagged by Suzlon's subsidiary, for 19 units of the 2.1 MW wind turbines, it said.

However, the company did not mention the financial details of the orders.

Suzlon Energy's shares were trading at Rs 1214.75, up 1.63 per cent at the BSE.
