ALUMNI ASSOCIATION MLN Medical College, Allahabad, is organising a symposium on Critical Care on October 8 at Hotel Kanha Shyam, Civil Lines. The symposium would be inaugurated by MLN Medical College principal Prof PC Saxena.
The experts who will deliver lectures at this symposium are Dr Abhijit Bhattacharya (former head of the department of Anaesthesia GTB Hospital Delhi), Prof Shyam Sundar Agarwal of Dept of Medicine IMS BHU, Varanasi, Dr A Bronia, Head of Critical Care Medicine, SGPGIMS, Lucknow, Dr P Bhattacharya Dept of Anaesthesia IMS, BHU, Varanasi, Dr DP Samaddar head Dept of Anesthesia, TMH Jamshedpur, Dr A Bhargava Dept of Microbiology MLN Medical College, Allahabad. The topics will be discussed are Antibiotics, Patient Safety in ICU, Blood Sugar control in ICU, sepsis and septic shock, hospital acquired infections and how to set up ICU, etc.
The symposium would be attended by approximately 300 doctors of Allahabad and adjoining districts of various specialities.
