Here's where the movers and shakers of the city (as well as out-of-town regulars like Punjab's Chief Minister Amarinder Singh) have their power lunches with an unparalleled view of Delhi's green cover. It owes its sturdy reputation primarily to its dim sum, but if exotic seafood is your fixation and you have the cash, order the sea cucumber, cuttle fish, scallops, abalone and lobster at approximately Rs 900 per dish, or the far less expensive yet equally memorable Red Snapper in Oyster Sauce. Taipan's new Singaporean chef is giving a nonya touch to the menu, bringing it closer to what you'd get in South-East Asia. We'd recommend the Curry-Style Prawns to give you an idea of where the menu is heading. After dinner, take a walk on the rooftop. You'll find it hard to turn back.
