2. What are your plans for the coming Ardh Kumbh mela ?

I have come to know that millions of devotees come for a holy dip at Sangam during this fair, considered to be the largest of its kind in the world. In such a big gathering some anti-social people also make attempt to take advantage of the situation. I have instructed the police force to be polite to the devotees besides dealing sternly with the criminal elements.

3. What is your approach towards the subordinates ?

I'm a strict disciplinarian and hence I expect the police force under me to maintain this spirit. Without discipline the force cannot survive. But that doesn't mean that I get strict with everybody. Those who are delivering the goods and deserve good treatment are dealt softly while the rest of the lot should be careful.

Though I like social work but I hardly get any time for it.
However, I like to indulge in the rehabilitation work of polio victims and organise medical check-up camps. At the moment the Mahila Thana under my guidance has undertaken family counselling work. Here, we try to resolve small disputes between husband and wife and their families.

5. Do find any difficult in communicating with the police force as you hail from South ?

No, not at all. I have stayed in the North for a long time. I did my MBA from IIM Lucknow. Though my Hindi accent is not at par with a person from the North but I speak Hindi well and understand what others say. So there's no problem at all.
