Farmers of Noida Extension villages held a panchayat in Bisrakh and said they were not against development or builders' projects.

Representing the farmers of Patwari, Itaidha, Haibatpur, Bisrakh and Roza, besides others villages, Vijay Singh, said, "We don't want confrontation. We want market rates for our land. We're keen on a fresh deal with the authority."

Once the court verdicts are out on July 26, farmers of all Noida Extension villages will hold a mahapanchayat on August 7 and take a final decision on what to do with the land returned.
